St. Pio of Pietelcina Parish was founded on January 1st, 2024.  This parish servers the Pittsburgh neighbhorhoods of Bloomfield, Garfield, Friendship and Lawrenceville.  As a Roman Catholic Parish of the Diocese of Pittsburgh, St. Pio Parish aspires to be a joyful, Christ-centered community of missionary disciples with vibrant worship, enriching spiritual formation, and intentional outreach to the marginalized and young. 

The purpose of Saint Pio Parish is to worship God above all and, with a spirit of hospitality, build our community so that every parishioner and those who are searching can grow together in faith, love and service of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
